The Stanmore Skatepark Renewal looked at replacing the the old and worn out timber quarterpipe and ledge with new features made in concrete. The existing kinked hubba ledge was also cut back to increase its usability. A whale fin styled handrail was implemented into the quarterpipe to connect with the Maori meaning of Whangaparaoa.
