Last week, RICH Landscapes conducted an on-site inspection at the Tauranga Destination Skatepark to assess the ongoing developments overseen by Angus McMillan Concrete. Significant progress has been achieved in the construction of the primary Comp Flow Bowl, which is nearing its final stages of completion. Furthermore, the transformation of the ditch environment has commenced, and its formation is becoming evident.
A substantial portion of the Corten Street Skate Features has been meticulously fabricated, showcasing exceptional quality and attention to detail. Several of these features have already been strategically positioned within their designated locations, providing a preview of the street area layout.
We eagerly anticipate witnessing the continued evolution of this park and look forward to our next visit to the site. If you wish to review the original design, please follow this link.
"The facility was elongated due to the characteristics of the site. The Skate Path was a great idea that allows for a 120m long flow line with a diverse range of obstacles."
