This is a recent sketchup animation I put together for Playground People Ltd showing the potential play equipment arrangement for the Margaret Mahy Family Playground in Christchurch.
This turned into one of the biggest models I have dealt with in sketchup, 200mb to be precise! A lot of the 3D playground equipment were high poly requiring time to cleanup and reduce complexity. With xrefing, specific layering and scene application the model was also able to be worked on without lagging and rendered through Sketchup easily!
"The facility was elongated due to the characteristics of the site. The Skate Path was a great idea that allows for a 120m long flow line with a diverse range of obstacles."
