We’re stoked to announce the opening of Alfred Cox Skatepark! We were involved in the design of the park after consulting with core user groups and relevant stakeholders, resulting in a comprehensive design process that met the needs of the communities that would be using it.
Our involvement also extended to programming and administration to deliver the design, quantity surveying and cost examinations (excluding earthworks) and detailed design documentation where we liaised with the project engineer when required for more complex or structural features.
RICH Landscapes would like to give special acknowledgements to the parties involved in the project:
Client - Tairāwhiti Adventure Trust
Landowner - Gisborne DistrictCouncil
Geotechnical Engineer - Allied Geotech Limited
Project Engineer - Clark Structural
Skatepark Construction Specialist - Angus McMillan Concrete
Civil and Drainage Contractor - Currie Construction
The Alfred Cox Skatepark Development wouldn’t be possible without the combined efforts of all of these entities, and it was an absolute pleasure working with everyone!

"Albany skatepark is very fun with creative lines and a little street area with ramps, ledges, stairs, quarter pipe and manual pads."
