Design, 3d Model Development and documentation

The clients of this Mairangi Bay came with a brief to redevelop their front entrance and backyard living space into a tropical paradise reminding them of the times they had spent in Fiji.   A 3D model was developed to illustrate the tropical environment that would transform their open and neglected backyard and unattractive main entry into a place of beauty with privacy where needed.

The use of 40 tonne of boulders were implemented successfully to retain areas of the backyard while contrasting with the planting palette used.   A faux rock wall cladding system was used to signify the main entrance while blending with the naturalistic placement of boulders.   Use of hardwood timber stairs and decking also connected seamlessly with existing features of the property while braking up the fresh expanses of insitu concrete made with white cement and limestone.

Overall this design has been wonderfully received by this happy family.
